How many portions are in each meal?

All our entrée portions are intended to be single-serving.

  • Medium: moderately active individuals, ideal for weight loss, usually between 250-450 calories
  • Large: active individuals, ideal for muscle-building, usually between 350-550 calories
  • XL: very active individuals, ideal for athletes, usually between 550-950 calories

How much do your meals cost?

Our entrees cost between $9-$17, depending on the meal and its size. Our other dishes cost between $4-$12. For exact cost, check out the price listed below each meal!

How long does the food stay fresh?

Our meals last three or four days if kept refrigerated. Some of our dishes, such as salads and seafood, have a shorter shelf-life. Look out for this icon on meals that should be enjoyed soon after delivery.

We believe that food should be personal. So, we want to cook your meals to the highest level of personalization possible. What is Paleo?

At Kitchfix, we believe our Paleo ancestors ate a naturally anti-inflammatory diet free of all grains, legumes and dairy, and abundant in whole fruits, vegetables, high-quality proteins, nuts and seeds. This is why all our Paleo meals are free of gluten, dairy, soy, grains and legumes.

What is whole30?

Whole30 takes the Paleo diet a step further by eliminating grains, legumes, gluten, dairy, soy, added sweeteners not present in whole fruits, alcohol, and healthy remakes of traditionally highly processed foods like baked goods, crackers, chips and desserts.

Where are the nutrition facts for each meal?

Nutrition facts can be found by clicking on each meal and choosing your desired size. They are also listed on each meal when you receive it. If you have additional questions about nutrition content, please contact our nutritionist, Katie DeBoo, RD at Katie@kitchfix.com.

Edit your order

I already placed my order, but I'd like to make a change. How do I do that?

Need to add a meal, change a customization, or update your address? Shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com or call us at 312.402.0221. If it's more than 24 hours before your delivery, we can always accommodate changes. If it's less than 24 hours, we'll still do our very best!

What is your cancellation policy?

We get it - things come up, schedules change. If you need to cancel your order, shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com or give us a call at 312.402.0221. We can issue a full refund if you let us know 24 hours before your delivery slot; if it's later than that, we'll issue you a credit for future use.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to addresses throughout Chicago and the suburbs; please visit our delivery area page to see if we deliver to your zip code. We also partner with a number of gyms throughout Chicago; please reference the map at check-out for your closest pick-up spot.

When do you deliver?

In Chicago, we deliver Sunday evening through Thursday morning. Outside the city, it varies by area; to find your schedule, enter your zip on checkout.

How do I know when my food will arrive?

Your food will arrive during the time slot you choose when you place your order. You will receive a text message with your driver's ETA when s/he's on the way to you. You will get another text when your driver has arrived, so you know right when to be available.

What if I'm not home during delivery?

If you know you won't be home, let us know where to leave the order by adding a note in the Delivery Instructions section on the check-out page.

Something come up last-minute and you need to step out? Just reply to the text message with instructions on where to leave the order. Due to safety concerns, our drivers will not leave orders unattended without specific instructions to do so.

What if I miss my delivery?

If our driver can't get in touch with you and doesn't have explicit instructions to leave the order unattended, s/he will continue with the route. We'll be in touch to schedule a redelivery shortly. Usually, we can redeliver the same day or the following morning.

Should I tip my driver?

Tips are not expected. The delivery fee we charge goes to our drivers!

Where are your pick-up spots (hubs) located and what are their hours?

Please visit our Hub Map for our most updated list of hubs. If you'd like a hub in your area, shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com.

I can't get to the hub at the time listed at check-out. Can I still pick up there?

For our hubs, the time listed at check-out is when we’ll be delivering the meals there - but you can stop by any time afterwards to grab your order (as long as the location is open). We drop off the meals in a fridge, so they’ll stay cold and fresh!

For pick-up from a Kitchfix location, the time window listed at check-out is when we’ll definitely be open and available for pick-up. If you can’t make it during those hours, get in touch and we’ll let you know the next available pick-up time.

I forgot to pick up my order on the delivery day, what now?

If you miss picking up your order on the day it was delivered, don't worry! The hub will keep your order for four days after delivery. Just swing by any time they're open and pick up your meals. After four days, we give gyms permission to toss the meals, so make sure to pick up as soon as possible.

I'm at the hub but my food isn't. What should I do?

Give us a call ASAP at 312.402.0221! We'll figure out what went wrong and, if necessary, will deliver the meals to your home or office later that day.

What do I do with these reusable bags?

We have a bag reuse program! Simply return it by placing on top of a hub fridge, handing to our driver, or leaving by your door before a delivery.

How do I reheat my meals?

Our meals can be reheated on the stove, in the oven, or in the microwave. Reheating instructions vary per dish and are included below the nutritional information.

Are the containers microwave-safe?

The containers are microwave-safe. However, we suggest you follow our suggested reheating instructions and use your stove or oven for the most delicious results.

The containers are NOT oven-safe, so be sure to transfer the meal into a pan or dish before heating in the oven.

Yes! Our containers are 100% recyclable.

Can I freeze my meals?

Yes, many of our meals can be frozen and will retain their flavor and quality. For tips on how best to freeze and reheat frozen meals, click here.

Promo codes and gift cards

I received an online gift certificate. Can I use it at your State Street store?

If you received an online gift certificate, we can convert it to an in-store gift certificate if you'd like. Just give us a call or send us an email with the gift card code, and we'll make the switch!

I heard about Kitchfix from a friend, but didn't use their referral link. Can we still get credit?

Sure! Just shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com with both the referrer and referree's name and email address, and we'll take care of it.

How do I earn points?

Every time you order Kitchfix meals, you earn reward points (every $10 spent earns you 1 point). Additionally, you earn bonus points when you

The reward program does not apply to store purchases. However, you can sign up for an in-store loyalty card to earn cash back at Kitchfix Gold Coast.

All customers are automatically enrolled in Kitchfix Rewards Program so they can receive maximum rewards on each purchase. You are not obligated to spend your points (but, c'mon, it's free food!).

By enrolling for Kitchfix Subscribe, you’re signing up for four weeks of deliveries.

Kitchfix Subscribe is best for people who want to eat healthfully every day, without spending time ordering each week. It's perfect if you want to try a variety of our meals and snacks. And if you're looking to save a few dollars, Kitchfix Subscribe is your best bet, with discounts ranging from 5-10%!

How much do meals cost?

The cost of your meals depends on two factors: the size of your meals, and the number of meals you receive each week.

We offer three sizes for our entrees - Medium, Large, and XL (click here for more info our sizes).

You can choose to receive either five, seven, ten or fourteen meals per week:

5 Meals/Week (prices include 5% discount)
5 medium/week: $59.85 (plus tax)
5 large/week: $68.45 (plus tax)
5 XL/week: $88.49 (plus tax)

7 Meals/Week (prices include 5% discount)

How are the meals delivered?

Meals are delivered once or twice per week, either to your home, office, or one of our hubs.

The delivery fee depends on the delivery option you choose. A second delivery in the week is always free, though!

How do I sign up?

To sign up for Kitchfix Subscribe, click here! This will take you to a registration form where you can choose your plan, enter your preferences, and set your delivery days.

Do I need to re-enroll each month?

No need to re-enroll. You'll stay enrolled in the subscription service from month-to-month. But don't worry: we'll send you an email a few days before we charge your card each month, and you can cancel or change your subscription by replying to that email.

Can I get breakfast or snacks?

Absolutely! In addition to your meals, you can also order scrambled eggs & bacon, dairy-free cashew yogurt, or Rx bars.

Breakfasts and snacks are priced the same as on our a la carte menu.

What if I have a special diet?

We try our hardest to accommodate food sensitivities, which is why all of our meals are gluten-, dairy-, soy-, and corn-free. Beyond that, you can indicate your preferred proteins, and you can specify up to three ingredients that you don’t want to receive.

Are your ingredients local and/or organic?

Yes, we take care to use organic and local produce to get the most nutrition and flavor in each dish. Our meats are grass-fed, pastured-raised, and come from local farms in Illinois and Indiana.

What if I need to pause my service?

If you need to pause your subscription, simply let us know 48 hours before your next delivery date, and we’ll put your subscription on hold. Call or text us at 312.402.0221, or email us at info@kitchfix.com.

You can pause at any time, and the missed week with be added onto the end of your four-week subscription. For example, let’s say you are on vacation for week three of your four-week subscription and return for the fourth week. In that case, your subscription will continue for one week after that, for a total of five weeks. This means you will be guaranteed four complete weeks of delivery, even if you take a pause with the service!

Can I change the number of meals I receive?

Definitely! Just reply to the email we send at the end of the month, and let us know that you'd like to change your subscription service. So go ahead – add our breakfasts, or increase your dinner entrees with us!

What if I need to change my billing information, delivery address, or other information?

Please let customer service know as soon as possible, so there is no lapse in your weekly delivery. We can get any changes updated right away! Call or text 312.402.0221, or email info@kitchfix.com.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel at the end of your subscription cycle. We'll send you an email a few days before we charge your card each month, and you can cancel or change your subscription by replying to that email.

What is your refund policy for Kitchfix Subscribe?

If you receive a dish that wasn’t prepared to your specifications, please contact the Customer Service Team at info@kitchfix.com or by phone/text at 312.402.0221. We can issue a credit for a future delivery or re-delivery for that item.

We do not offer refunds for the monthly Kitchfix Subscribe charge.
