Ordering and Choosing your Meals

Editing Your Order

  • Need to add a meal, change a customization, or update your address? Shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com or call us at 312.402.0221. If it’s more than 24 hours before your delivery, we can always accommodate changes. If it’s less than 24 hours, we’ll still do our very best!

  • We get it - things come up, schedules change. If you need to cancel your order, shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com or give us a call at 312.402.0221. We can issue a full refund if you let us know 24 hours before your delivery slot; if it's later than that, we'll issue you a credit for future use.

Delivery

  • We deliver to addresses throughout Chicago and the suburbs, or you can pick up an order from one of our partner gyms. Please visit our Delivery Area page to see if we deliver to your zip code, or our Hub Map for a list of pick-up gyms.

  • In Chicago, we deliver Sunday evening through Thursday morning. Outside the city, it varies by zip code; shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com or call us at 312.402.0221 and we’ll be happy to share your schedule.

  • You will receive a text message with your driver's ETA when s/he's on the way to you. You will get another text when your driver has arrived, so you know right when to be available.

  • If you know you won't be home, let us know where to leave the order by adding a note in the Delivery Instructions section on the check-out page.

    Something come up last-minute and you need to step out? Just reply to the text message with instructions on where to leave the order.

  • If our driver can't get in touch with you and doesn't have explicit instructions to leave the order unattended, s/he will continue with the route. We'll be in touch to schedule a redelivery shortly. Usually, we can redeliver the same day or the following morning.

  • Tips are not expected. The delivery fee we charge goes to our drivers!

Pick-Up

  • Please visit our Hub Map page for our most updated list of hubs and their hours.  If you'd like a hub in your area, shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com.

  • For our partner gyms, the time listed at check-out is when we’ll be delivering the meals there - but you can stop by any time afterwards to grab your order (as long as the gym is open). We drop the meals in a fridge at the gym, so they’ll stay cold and fresh!

    For pick-up from a Kitchfix location, the time window listed at check-out is when we’ll definitely be open and available for pick-up. If you can’t make it during those hours, get in touch and we’ll let you know the next available pick-up time.

  • If you miss picking up your order on the day it was delivered, don’t worry! The hub will keep your order for four days after delivery. Just swing by any time they’re open and pick up your meals. After four days, we give gyms permission to toss the meals, so make sure to pick up as soon as possible.

  • Give us a call ASAP at 312.402.0221! We’ll figure out what went wrong and, if necessary, will deliver the meals to your home or office later that day.

Receiving and Reheating

  • We have a bag reuse program! Simply return it by placing on top of a hub fridge, handing to our driver, or leaving by your door before a delivery.

  • Our meals can be reheated on the stove, in the oven, or in the microwave. Reheating instructions vary per dish and are included on the back of each meal’s sleeve.

  • The containers are microwave-safe. However, we suggest you follow our suggested reheating instructions and use your stove or oven for the most delicious results.

  • The containers are not oven-safe, so be sure to transfer the meal into a pan or dish before heating in the oven.

  • Yes! Our containers are 100% recyclable.

Promo Codes and Gift Cards

  • If you received an online gift certificate, we can convert it to an in-store gift certificate if you’d like. Just give us a call or send us an email with the gift card code, and we’ll make the switch!

  • Sure! Just shoot us an email at info@kitchfix.com with both the referrer and referree's name and email address, and we'll take care of it.

Kitchfix Subscribe

  • Kitchfix Subscribe is a meal delivery service that brings healthy food right to your door, all month long. Sign up once, choose between four different plan sizes, pick the most convenient delivery days and times, and let us do the rest!

  • Kitchfix Subscribe is best for people who want to eat healthfully everyday, without spending time ordering each week. It's perfect if you want to try a variety of our meals and snacks. And if you're looking to save a few dollars, Kitchfix Subscribe is your best bet, with discounts ranging from 5-10%!

  • Meals are delivered once or twice per week, either to your home, office, or one of our hub partners. You can also pick up your meals from one of our Kitchfix locations (1731 West Grand Ave or 1165 North State Street). Just choose the method that works best for you!

  • The delivery fee depends on the delivery option you choose. A second delivery in the week is always free, though!

    • Kitchfix pick-up: Free!
    • Hub: $1
    • Home or office (Chicago): $6
    • Home or office (suburbs): $12

  • To sign up for Kitchfix Subscribe, click here! This will take you to a registration form where you can choose your plan, enter your preferences, and set your delivery days.

  • No need to re-enroll! You'll stay enrolled in the subscription service from month-to-month. But don't worry: we'll send you an email a few days before we charge your card each month, and you can cancel or change your subscription by replying to that email.

  • Absolutely! In addition to your meals, you can also order scrambled eggs & bacon, dairy-free cashew yogurt, or Rx bars.

    Breakfasts and snacks are priced the same as on our a la carte menu.

  • We try our hardest to accommodate food sensitivities, which is why all of our meals are gluten-, dairy-, soy-, and corn-free! Beyond that, you can indicate your preferred proteins, and you can specify up to three ingredients that you would not like to receive.

  • Yes, we take care to use organic and local produce to get the most nutrition and flavor in each dish. Our meats are grass-fed, pastured-raised, and come from local farms in Illinois and Indiana.

  • Yes! We have our in-house Registered Dietician, Katie, available for all your nutrition questions at katie@kitchfix.com. Common dietary needs such as weight-loss or clean eating can be included during sign up.

  • If you need to ‘pause’ your subscription for a trip or business, simply let us know 48 hours before your next delivery date, and we’ll put your subscription on hold. Call or text us at 312.402.0221, or email us at info@kitchfix.com.

    You can pause at any time, and the missed week with be added onto the end of your four-week subscription. For example, if you are on vacation for week three of your monthly subscription and return for the fourth week, your subscription will continue for one week after that, for a total of five weeks. This means you will be guaranteed four complete weeks of delivery, even if you take a pause with the service!

  • Definitely! Just reply to the email we send at the end of the month, and let us know that you'd like to change your subscription service. So go ahead – add our breakfasts, or increase your dinner entrees with us!

  • Please let customer service know as soon as possible, so there is no lapse in your weekly delivery. We can get any changes updated right away! Call or text 312.402.0221, or email info@kitchfix.com.

  • Yes, you can cancel after each month. We'll send you an email a few days before we charge your card each month, and you can cancel or change your subscription by replying to that email.

  • If you receive a dish that you cannot enjoy or wasn’t prepared to your specifications, please contact the Customer Service Team at info@kitchfix.com or by phone/text at 312.402.0221. We can issue a credit for a future delivery or re-delivery for that item.

    We do not offer refunds for the monthly Kitchfix Subscribe charge.

  • You can give any empty Kitchfix cooler bags to your delivery driver when s/he drops off your order. If you pick-up from a hub, just leave it on top of the fridge there! Kitchfix cares about our impact on the environment, and loves to reuse when possible.
